  This top rail is aluminium and manufactured in 2m lengths.  
       
  The Traditional Top Rail is supplied in gloss white and silver.  
       
  Fixing screws and masonry plugs are all supplied when you purchase from FX. Extra fixing packs can be ordered  
       
  Security accessories are available to prevent the removal of both the hooks from the artwork and the rods from the top rail. See below for details. Security can be achieved with accessory items such as the anti-theft museum hook + rod
  
       
     
  This traditional top rail system has been used for over a century throughout Europe, traditionally in public exhibition galleries and museums.

The Traditional system is very strong and simple to use. The hangers are rigid so that in most cases you can reposition your paintings whilst standing on the floor. The hooks are all self-locking which makes it incredibly easy to adjust the position of your artworks, ie. just push them up to the desired height and let go. The hooks lock automatically without slipping, even for very precise adjustments.

Security accessories are available to prevent the removal of both the hooks from the artwork and the rods from the top rail. See below for details.
